St. Mary's Food Pantry - Open to the Public

Our Food Pantry is open every Monday morning (except holidays) from 10:30-12:00 noon outside St. Mary's Carroll Room, at the front of the church, located at 100 Central Avenue (at the corner of Central Avenue and Whittington). 

​Those needing assistance should have a valid picture I.D. to present to the volunteers. Assistance can be given as

Christmas Food Basket

St. Mary's provides food baskets during the Christmas season for families in need. The names of those to receive a basket are provided to us through one of the local school districts, parishioners, and in a few special circumstances through our local food pantry.

Angel Tree

The Angel Tree is put up inside the church every year before Christmas and decorated with tags listing suggested gifts for those in need of assistance. Parishioners, able to participate, take an Angel tag, fulfill the request, and then bring the gift to the church for pick-up or delivery. Names of those to receive a basket are provided to us through one of the local school districts, parishioners, and in a few special circumstances through our local food pantry. Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets in the Parish Hall (upstairs) the second Wednesday of the month from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. If you sew, knit, or crochet and want to help, please come! No sign up needed. Participants make shawls for widows, widowers, and the sick. This group also makes prayer cloths for local hospitals and...at home, sew layettes for the stillborn. This is a wonderful way to share your time and talent with others. 

Grief Support

St. Mary's Grief Group meets most Thursday's from 2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Carroll Room. This is a small, lighthearted group that comes together over coffee to talk and share thoughts, wisdom, and blessings. All are welcome! Haiti Mission

The Haiti Mission is a joint effort between St. Mary's and three other churches. The mission supports three parishes in the Diocese of Hinche in the Central Highlands. Our churches provide food supplies, teacher's pay, and propane as well as other projects for St. Andrew's parish and the village of Colladere, Copeal and Campeche. Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic

It is the mission of Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic to improve life for under-served, under-resourced neighbors by addressing their physical, mental, and spiritual health needs. The Hope Movement

This organization recognizes that women who are recovering from an addictive lifestyle can benefit from the practical application of biblical teachings and in the coaching of day-to-day life skills while they prepare to return to the community as independent, productive women following Jesus. The mission of Kairos Prison Ministry is to bring Christ's love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families, and those who work with them; and to assist in the transition of these individuals during their journey of becoming productive citizens.
